For the love of food
- Olive oil
- 3 medium red onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 carrots chopped
- 2 sticks of celery chopped
- 4 field mushrooms
- 2.2 lb. brisket or stewing beef, cubed
- few sprigs of fresh rosemary
- salt and pepper
- 1 can Guinness
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 7 oz. cheddar
- Now what I do is add way more carrots, celery, mushrooms, and cubed potatoes.
- Put olive oil, carrots, onions, celery, garlic in cooker
- Add beef, rosemary, mushrooms, salt and pepper
- Add 1 can of Guinness, and top up with water; or add two cans of Guinness and a bit of water
- Add worcestershire sauce to taste, and beef bouillon/stock to taste
- Cook for fuckin hours, and reduce
- When patience/beer runs dry, add some flour or cornstarch to thicken (remember to mix with water first)
